Recently, the Year Four students and their teachers enjoyed an unforgettable sleepover at School, filled with fun, games, and excitement.
The students eagerly awaited the end of the School day to set up their sleeping bags with friends in the Moortang Mia.
The afternoon kicked off with a series of activities, including ‘Minute to Win It’ challenges, where students participated in fast-paced team games with Ms Janes and Ms Hart. They also faced off in a dodgeball tournament against Mr Du Mond and Miss Wissman. Throughout these events, the students showed exceptional Strength of Collaboration. For those who preferred a quieter experience, there was a ‘chill out zone’ where students could draw, read, and play a variety of calm games with Mrs Taylor, Miss Sutherland, and Mrs Farmer.
Dinner featured a delicious pizza feast, followed by classic campfire fun with s’mores and toasted marshmallows for dessert. As the evening wound down, everyone got cozy to watch the film ‘Garfield’. It was an early wakeup with some students catching more sleep than others.
The morning concluded with a breakfast of muffins and juice before students were collected by their families. The air was filled with excitement as students left, with many saying things like, ‘That was the best night ever!’ and ‘I wish the sleepover didn’t end!’. The Year 4 students are now eagerly anticipating the Year 5 Camp next year.
