It is great to see all the students back after the mid-year break. For those who were able to take time away, I hope it has been refreshing.

We also had lots of students here at PCACS for Extend vacation care, at Ricky Grace basketball and the soccer holiday program. Congratulations to our Samoa Service Learning trip who spent the holidays at All Saints School in Samoa. The break has provided an opportunity for some projects to be completed by the IT and Grounds and Maintenance teams, including a significant IT upgrade. The Junior School Courtyard transformation has taken another step with the final seating area being put in place and the new plantings are really taking off. This new learning environment will really enhance our nature-based philosophy. Stage 9 also took a major step with the site being prepared for the foundations to be laid. This major project will be completed in late 2026 and will become the home for Mathematics, Music, Drama, Visual Art, Food Technologies and Textiles.

Welcome Father Raphael

We are delighted to welcome Father Raphael Beuthner to PCACS as our School Chaplain. Fr. Raphael comes to PCACS from a Kindergarten to Year 12 school in Germany, where he served as Chaplain and RAVE Teacher. Prior to this role, he has studied and worked in United States and Ireland, studying

Information Systems and Technology, Theology, Philosophy and Psychology, working as an assistant Parish Priest, University Chaplain and Theological Educator. Fr. Raphael’s understanding of the importance of relationships makes him a perfect match for our School and he is looking forward to walking with our community ‘in joy, in struggle, and in the quiet spaces between’. I am sure you join me in welcoming Fr. Raphael and wish him all the very best as he settles into our School.
