Peter Carnley Anglican Community School has taken out the championship title at this year’s KSSA Athletics Carnival, finishing first overall out of nine competing schools.

The carnival was held on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 November, with PCACS proudly hosting students from Years 1 to 6 across a wide range of track and field events. PCACS concluded the two day event with an impressive 694 points, securing a well deserved victory.

A number of PCACS athletes delivered exceptional performances, their dedication, sportsmanship and talent contributed significantly to the School’s overall success. and were recognised with champion medals:

Students from Years 4 to 6 competed in a full athletics program that included Turbo Javelin, Shot Put, Long Jump, Triple Jump, 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m races, Leaderball, Passball, and the 4 × 100m relay. Meanwhile, students in Years 1 to 3 took part in the 70m sprint, Leaderball, and the 4 × 70m relay. Across all year levels, PCACS athletes showcased impressive skill, determination, and teamwork. Notably, the school’s middle distance runners excelled in the 400m and 800m events, with many finishing within the top four highlighting the strength and depth of PCACS’s middle distance program.
