A day of outstanding participation, record breaking performances and incredible House spirit saw Murray House crowned champions at the 2026 Senior School Interhouse Athletic Carnival.
What a fantastic day of competition, camaraderie and school spirit at the 2026 Senior School Interhouse Athletic Carnival!
With record breaking student participation, the carnival was a wonderful celebration of athletic achievement and community spirit. Under warm, sunny skies, our students embraced the opportunity to compete, challenge themselves and proudly represent their Houses across a wide range of events.
From the track to the field, students demonstrated determination, enthusiasm and an incredible willingness to get involved. Records were broken across a number of events, highlighting the outstanding talent and effort on display throughout the day. Whether competing for points, cheering from the sidelines or supporting their Housemates, our students contributed to an atmosphere filled with energy and excitement.
After a closely contested carnival, the final House results saw Murray House take first place, securing the title of 2026 Senior School Interhouse Athletic Carnival Champions!
The celebrations were certainly enjoyed by Murray House, with fellow Murray House member Ethan proudly embracing the moment and sharing in the excitement of the House victory.
A successful carnival would not be possible without the many people who work behind the scenes to make the day happen. We extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful P&F Committee volunteers who generously gave their time to run the canteen throughout the day and for also donating the new marquees to keep all the students shaded. We also thank all staff and student helpers whose support, organisation and enthusiasm contributed to making the carnival such a memorable event.
Most importantly, congratulations to all of our students for their participation, sportsmanship and effort. It was wonderful to see so many students getting involved and representing their Houses with pride.
