Throughout the evening, students and parents alike embraced the relaxed atmosphere, taking the opportunity to unwind and enjoy the simple joy of being together.
The P&F Family Camp Out at the Wellard Campus was a huge success, bringing our PCACS community together for a night filled with fun, laughter and connection under the stars.
Families set up tents across the campus oval and enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner, followed by an evening of games, activities and a cosy campfire complete with toasted marshmallows. The highlight of the night was the KPop movie in the KLC, which was clearly a hit with campers of all ages, with plenty of singing, dancing and smiles all around!
It was wonderful to see new families making connections, younger students experiencing their first campout and older students stepping into leadership roles as they helped run games and support younger campers.
The following morning, campers were treated to a hearty breakfast before packing up and heading home with smiles and stories to share. Many families left already talking about “next year’s campout”, which is a true testament to the event’s success.
A huge thank you to our amazing P&F team for organising such a well run and memorable event, and to all the families who joined in the fun. Events like these truly showcase the warmth and spirit of our PCACS community and remind us of the value of coming together beyond the classroom.
