Whatever your plans for the break, whether at home or away, I hope it provides an opportunity to rest, recharge and spend time with family and friends.

As we reach the end of Semester One, it is hard to believe how quickly the year is passing. It has been a busy and rewarding six months, filled with learning, growth and achievement in our PCACS Community.

As Semester One comes to a close, students will soon receive their reports. Our teachers invest significant time and care in providing feedback that supports learning and growth. I encourage every student to take time to reflect on their achievements, consider areas for improvement and set goals for Semester Two.

For our Year 11 and 12 students, this reflection is especially important. The final years of schooling pass quickly, and the habits developed now will shape future success. For all students, every lesson, task, challenge and opportunity contributes to the foundations being built for the future. I hope each student can take pride in their efforts this semester and approach the second half of the year with renewed focus and determination.

Term Two has certainly given us much to celebrate. We began with a moving ANZAC Day Service and continued with a wide range of academic, sporting, cultural and community experiences. Highlights included Open Classrooms and Parent-Teacher Interviews, the spectacular performances of The Addams Family Musical, the Book Fair, sporting carnivals and competitions, music performances, excursions, leadership programs, environmental projects and service opportunities.

We also celebrated Founders’ Day and our School’s 19th Anniversary, welcomed Dr Carnley, and launched the Pilgrimage Walk of Joy, strengthening our connection to the wider Anglican community.

Congratulations to our Junior School students for their enthusiasm and generosity during the Colour Run, raising almost $8,000 to support All Saints School in Samoa. We look forward to hearing stories from our representatives currently visiting Samoa when they return.

These achievements are only possible because of the dedication and commitment of our staff. I would like to sincerely thank our teachers and support staff for the care, expertise and energy they bring to our school every day. Their work creates the opportunities that help our students learn, grow and flourish.

As the term concludes, we also farewell Mrs Suzanne Blignaut, Mrs Alana Hook, Mr Steven Daly, Mrs Verity Besseling and Mrs Tamara Green. We thank them for their valued contributions to our community and wish them every success in the future.

As we reflect on all that has been achieved this term, we are reminded of how much we have to be grateful for. Thank you to our students, staff and families for your continued support and partnership.

I wish everyone a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday break, and I look forward to welcoming you back for Term Three.

God Bless

Ms Felicity House
