On the 5th and 6th of November, Peter Carnley Anglican Community School was filled with the sound of music as students took part in the 2025 Eisteddfods.

The Early Learning and Junior School Eisteddfods were held on Tuesday the 5th, followed by the Senior School Eisteddfod on Wednesday the 6th.

The music Eisteddfod is a celebration of performance and creativity, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their musical skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. The purpose of these events is not only to recognise musical excellence but also to nurture confidence, dedication, and a love of the arts among students.

Participating in an eisteddfod offers students a range of valuable experiences. It gives them a goal to work towards, greater focus in their practice, expert feedback from and adjudicator, and an opportunity to gain performance experience. It also helps build confidence and musical skill while allowing students to meet and learn from their peers.

Upcoming Events

Our next major music event will be the Voyager Music Night on Tuesday, 19th November, held in the Calista Campus Auditorium from 5:30pm. This special evening will feature performances from our Voyager Music students, highlighting their hard work, growth, and passion throughout the year.

To conclude the year in festive spirit, the Peter Carnley Carols on the Green will take place on Tuesday, December 9th, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on the school oval. Families are encouraged to bring along their picnic rugs and singing voices for a joyful evening of Christmas carols under the summer sky. It’s a night you won’t want to miss!

These events showcase not only the musical talent within our school but also the dedication, courage, and creativity of our students. Congratulations to all participants and winners, your passion for music continues to make our community proud.
